Welcome to Aurore's workshop for a wonderful day of communion with clay!
When you arrive, you'll receive a warm welcome from this passionate craftswoman. After taking the time to get to know each other, she'll begin with an introduction to the theoretical basics of ceramics.
Then it's time to get down to business! First, you'll learn the rules for preparing stoneware, a soft, easy-to-work material.
The morning will be devoted to the wheel technique. Aurore will take the time to explain each step in detail. With her help and advice, you'll create a pot or bowl on your potter's wheel.
In the afternoon, you'll discover the specificities of modeling. You'll have the opportunity to make the piece of your choice: bowl, cup, plate... It's up to you! You'll even be able to personalize it by adding cool details like a foot or handle.
Once you've cleaned and tidied up, hand over your creations to Aurore. She'll take care of drying, firing and glazing. You'll take advantage of this opportunity to agree directly with her on the terms of collection (within a few weeks).

NB: for this workshop, a lunch break of around an hour is planned in the courtyard in the sunshine, or inside the workshop depending on the day's weather! You'll take time to share your meal with the others, for a convivial moment, in the spirit of a Spanish inn.
